Bildungswerk der Hessichen Wirtschaft (BWHW)
The Client
BWHW (Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft) — provider of professional development programs for the Hessian economy, including the “Transformationsbegleiter” qualification for leaders from German Mittelstand companies.
Initial situation
The cohort consisted of leaders from manufacturing companies in the metal and electrical industry — many directly affected by the ongoing disruption in the automotive sector.
Participants were under pressure to deliver operational stability while driving transformation topics such as innovation, new ways of working and sustainability.
What was missing was not only a shared toolkit, but also a reliable rhythm to reflect, learn from each other and keep change initiatives moving beyond the core training.

Our contribution
Developed and delivered a practice-oriented learning journey for BWHW’s “Transformationsbegleiter” program, connecting transformation, sustainability and process excellence with real participant cases. We enabled hands-on application, provided a consistent set of tools and templates for transfer, and strengthened the cohort’s capability to structure initiatives, align stakeholders and execute change in complex environments.
Beyond the core program, we created a concept for regular offsite workshops and have been running them as an ongoing cadence.

Result
Participants gained a common language and structured approach, with clearer project definitions, priorities, and immediate next actions.
The format creates a trusted space that blends soft skills (leadership, inner work, courage and clarity) with hard skills (methods, frameworks and tools)—turning each session into measurable progress.
A cross-company learning community sustains transformation beyond the cohort, offering scalable continuation for day-to-day business.
